Placing and answering calls
To place or answer a call, first lift the handset or press the SPKR key.  Then (if placing a call) use the dialing keys, or press any of the  “user programmable keys” to “speed dial” a stored number.

Hanging up calls
To hang up a call, replace the handset in the cradle (or press SPKR if your call took place on the speakerphone).   Please note that it may take several seconds for the call to disconnect properly! If you try to pick up the line again too quickly after disconnecting from the previous call, you  may hear the call still continuing, or you may hear the announcement "enter, enter" from the system.  This is not a problem - it just means you need to allow more time.  There's an easy way to tell if your call has disconnected properly - simply look at your display screen.  In the upper right-hand corner is a small image of a handset.  The handset will light up when you place a call; it will disappear as soon as the call has been disconnected properly.
