To program a transfer key on the SciTech phone:

Lift Handset (wait for dial tone)
Press Store button
Press Flash button
Press the # key
Press 2 key
Press Store button
Press the free programmable button you want call transfer to work on
(We suggest the last programmable button under the Store key)
Press Store button

Now when on a call you can press your newly programmed button, the person you are talking to will be placed on hold (with music) automatically. Then dial the number you want to transfer the caller to.

Stay on the call if you would like to speak to the person at the number you dialed before the transfer (supervised transfer). When you hand up the call will be transferred. Or you can hand up after you hear the phone ring and the call will be transferred (direct transfer).
